3Wire TMF2X Thermal Mass Flow Meter is designed for reliable gas flow monitoring in industrial environments. Using the thermal diffusion principle, TMF2X provides direct gas mass flow measurement without the need for external temperature or pressure compensation. It is suitable for compressed air, industrial gas distribution, process gas monitoring, low-flow detection, leakage monitoring and plant utility optimisation. TMF2X uses a constant temperature differential method to measure gas mass flow. Two platinum resistance temperature sensors are used. One sensor measures the actual gas temperature. The second sensor is heated and maintained at a fixed temperature difference above the gas temperature. As gas flows across the heated sensor, heat is removed from the sensor. The higher the gas velocity, the stronger the cooling effect. The meter measures the heater power required to maintain the temperature difference. Measures gas mass flow directly for accurate and stable readings without additional correction devices. The thermal mass flow principle allows convenient measurement without separate pressure and temperature compensation. Supports gas velocity measurement from 0.1 Nm/s to 100 Nm/s for low-flow and high-flow applications. Suitable for low-flow monitoring and leakage detection in compressed air and industrial gas systems. No moving mechanical parts, improving reliability and reducing maintenance requirements.
