Introduction
3Wire RS2MQTT & RS2MQTT+ are industrial-grade 4G IoT gateways designed to seamlessly connect serial and Ethernet-based devices—such as PLCs, meters, and sensors—to cloud-based IoT platforms.
Both models feature serial communication ports, while the RS2MQTT+ includes an additional Ethernet port to support TCP/IP-based data polling. These gateways enable reliable data transmission via MQTT or HTTP POST over 2G/4G (GPRS/LTE) networks.
Device configuration and data polling intervals can be easily managed through the serial interface. To ensure data integrity during network disruptions, the gateways are equipped with internal cache memory capable of storing up to 800 data records.
Additionally, both units are built with a dedicated watchdog circuit that ensures stable and continuous 4G operation, making them ideal for mission-critical industrial applications.
